Ok folks here it is the very first ARKANSAS CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING INFORMER. But I give everyone the scoop on who’s behind Arkansas Championship Wrestling. I’m going to give you the quick results from the first Arkansas Championship Wrestling show on October-14-2006. In the first match Big Al beat Hillbilly Tucker with the big boot to the face.

            Now the second match was supposed to be Johnny Morton taking on the Blakester but since Johnny Morton did not show up the Blakester got more than he bargained for when Lord Humongous took it upon himself to go to ring and proceed to destroy the Blakester to the point where the Arkansas Championship Wrestling Heavyweight Champion Big Buster Johnson came to the ring to rescue the Blakester. But the Champ ended up being left lying in the ring looking up at the lights after Lord Humongous attacked Buster from behind and proceeded to destroy him. To soften the Champ up for the Main Event.

Now the third match of the night had the Next Division Champion Loose Cannon along with Rott'n Randy taking on the Big Indian Ceyote. Loose Cannon ended up stealing the victory when he uses his feet on the ropes to pin Ceyote.

Now the SEMI MAIN EVENT featured the Arkansas Championship Wrestling Tag Team Champions Jamie Jay and Shakedown defeating Deadley Dale and Idol Bane with Jamie Jay hitting Idol Bane with a big cross body block and Shakedown rolling Idol Bane up with a school boy at the same time pinning Idol Bane for the win. But Deadley Dale and Idol Bane did not take the loss in stride because as Jamie Jay and Shakedown were celebrating Dale and Bane attacked the Champs and beat the crap out of them and then Deadley Dale and Idol Bane got the microphone and told all of the fans to look at their Champions now. I can say this all four wrestlers gave outstanding performances in what was probably the best match of the night.

 Now onto the Main Event of the night which featured Lord Humongous taking on Big Buster Johnson for the Arkansas Championship Wrestling Heavyweight Title. Now there was not anything pretty about this match at all these two big guys were just beating the shit out of each other they went all over the building until the action got so out of control that the whole dressing room had to finally separate these two huge guys who were both determined to destroy each other. The match was ruled a No Contest.

Now for what everyone wants to know what’s the deal with Arkansas Championship Wrestling? Who owns Arkansas Championship Wrestling? And what happened to OSCW? So lets start with OSCW quit frankly OSCW was plaqed with show postponements, cancellations. Inconsistency with talent, health problems and lack of desire in ownership for future growth of a wrestling company. Now as far as inconsistency with talent goes that just the nature of the wrestling business. Wrestlers are notorious for double booking themselves on purpose knowing that they are not going to make it to one of the shows. Wrestlers are worse than Axl Rose about no showing gigs without even a call to the booker to let him know that they are not going to be there. And a lot of wrestlers are bad about just out right lying to promoters and bookers but hey as far as promoters and bookers go most are just as bad as the wrestlers about lying to not only the wrestlers but pretty much everyone else also.   

Just for example a booker recently told me that he got a call from a wrestler about 3 o’clock the day of a show to tell him that not only did he have problems with getting a babysitter for his kids but that he had also been called into work by his job and that he would not make the show. The booker told me that this guy must think he is a fucking idiot because first of all if you did not have a babysitter to make it to the show how in the hell are you going to go to work without a babysitter. And guess what the booker found out later that the wrestler went to another booking in Mississippi. Well that would be fine but why not just say hey man I have a better booking at least you would not have to lye the booker then told me that this wrestler then had the audacity to wonder why the booker did not make it to this wrestlers show. It boils down to do unto others as they do unto you.

Now as far as health problems and lack of desire for growth of a wrestling company goes in the owners of OSCW. Well the owners are plaqed with serious health problems which at times has affected the booking schedule of OSCW. But overall they just did not have the desire to go any further with the company than a once and on occasion twice a month show and it was unanimous with the wrestlers that they wanted to work more and wanted to see just how far they could take a wrestling company and that’s where Arkansas Championship Wrestling comes into the picture. The owner of Arkansas Championship Wrestling is a retired business man and a life long wrestling fan. His name is Jerry Story he now lives in TN. But he was borned and raised in AR and loves and supports everything Arkansas. He loves wrestling and would love to see Arkansas have a wrestling company that we can be proud of. Now as far as the booker goes the booker for Arkansas Championship Wrestling is Big Buster Johnson.

Now I know what you are going to say. He is the booker and he is also the Champion but the facts are that Buster was the Heavyweight Champion before he was asked to do the booking for Arkansas Championship Wrestling and I have it on good authority that as soon as Arkansas Championship Wrestling has a crew that they can depend on that Buster will stop wrestling all together so that he can count put all of his attention into Creative and Promoting. I also have got the word that when Buster does stop wrestling to concentrate on Promoting and Creative that Loose Cannon will be taking on the position of Talent Relations. which means that Loose Cannon will be in charge of making sure the wrestlers that are booked will be where they are supposed to be when they are suppose to be there. It also means that any talent interested in working for Arkansas Championship Wrestling will have to contact Loose Cannon it also means that any talent that works for Arkansas Championship Wrestling with any questions about bookings will need to contact Loose Cannon. Arkansas Championship Wrestling feel that Loose Cannon is the perfect person for the position of Talent Relations because he workes all over the territory and he knows pretty much every wrestler on the Indy circuit around this area.

The Indy talent is what Arkansas Championship Wrestling will be built on as of right now there are no intensions of bringing in any big names Arkansas Championship Wrestling feels that there is not much of an upside to bringing in any big names because most of the time they cost more money than they bring in. Arkansas Championship Wrestling believes that young and hungry talent mean more to the company in the long run than a big name who thinks the fans should just be happy that they even showed up. Arkansas Championship Wrestling wants wrestlers who have something to prove wrestlers that go out there and give the fans all they have every time they step into the ring. That is where the future of Arkansas Championship Wrestling lies. Arkansas Championship Wrestling strives to become the premier wrestling company in North East Arkansas.
