2 Cool 2 vs.
Brickhouse Brown & Kevin White-Both teams did mic spills before the match 2 Cool 2 were really funny and this was
one of their best mic spills to date funny stuff. Now Brickhouse did most or should I say all of the talking Brick was in
rare form talking about taking Kevin White to the hood to eat neckbones & chitterlings and to hang out with the brothers
it was great with Kevin White just standing there next to Brickhouse looking just as white as he could be just picture Kevin
White in the hood shooting dice on the street corner or at the closest gambling house it would be hilarious stuff. Now the
match started off really good I said last week that 2 Cool 2 needed to pick up their intensity and for the first half of the
match they had real good intensity but towards the end of the match their intensity drops some but still a very good match.
Both teams looked pretty good until time for the finish it turned into a cluster with 2 Cool 2 trying to hit Kevin White with
one of the Southern Tag Team Title Belts and missing almost hitting his partner but stops short when coming face to face with
his partner to which Kevin White & Brickhouse try to drop kick each member of 2 Cool 2 in the back sending them head to
head with each other and then rolling each member of 2 Cool 2 up for the double pin to win the Southern Tag Team Titles. Now
the reason I say that they tried to drop kick 2 Cool 2 from behind is because Kevin Whites timing is terrible and Brickhouse
missed completely. But will say that Brickhouse and Kevin White did not look bad together. I thought that they really looked
pretty good together they seem to fit each other they did not look awkward together at all. Hated to see 2 Cool 2 drop the
Titles but we will just have to wait and see where Memphis Wrestling goes with these two teams from here. Nate the Rat-Dressed
like Elvis once again plugs it being Elvis week. Says that he taught Elvis karate & shows a picture of himself with Elvis.
Picture fake or not fake that’s the question. Cowboys vs.
Picture Perfect- Cowboys looked real strong they really laid in a couple of closthlines the Cowboys pretty much dominated
the whole match to get the win. Picture Perfect got a very small comeback and really did not get to do much of anything during
the match. I hate to say it but it was pretty much a squashed match and that is kind of sad because I think Picture Perfect
are a good team and there are ways to Elevate one team without killing the other. The Clowns
with Rashad vs. Tattoo & Neil Taylor-Rashad and the Clowns cut a short interview before the match good but nothing
special with what Rashad was saying but one the Clowns had a stuffed toy which he tore into pieces and then began to drop
elbows on the tore up toy while it was on the floor. I thought that it was pretty funny. Crazy but funny and we are talking
about Insane Clowns so what do you expect. The match itself nothing spectacular but a solid match Tattoo looked really good
at the start of the match but was quickly cut off by the Clowns. Tattoo finally made the tag to Neil Taylor not a very big
comeback by Tattoo & Taylor as one of the Clowns hit Neil Taylor in the back with a baseball loaded sock to get the win.
I would have liked to see Neil Taylor get to do more. I have seen him work a few other times and he has way more talent than
he is being allowed to show right now but that’s the way TV goes they won’t to see if you will do what you are
told before their going to give you a chance to shine. Solid match good to see the Clowns pick up another win. Cory Maclin
plugs wrestling coming to West Memphis- But it’s not a Memphis Wrestling show it’s a Don Bass show at the
VFW building should be a good show Don Bass usually put on pretty good shows so go check it out. Nate the Rat
& The Cowboys-Return to the announcer’s desk with a black sheet in hand and Nate says that he is going to do
an Elvis impersonation. The Cowboys hold up the sheet in front of the announcers table and when they let the sheet down Nate
is lying on the announcers table with flowers on his chest like he was dead. I
thought it was funny as hell but apparently the King Jerry Lawler did not think so because he Renee make their way to the
announcer stand, the King tells Nate that the Elvis impersonation was in bad taste to which Nate replies the only thing in
bad taste around here was the King loosing to Randy Orton on Monday night Raw and that he should get his mind off of Renee
and on to wrestling and he mite have won the match with Randy Orton. Nate then
goes on to say that Renee on the Leave it to Lawler segments were also in bad taste.
Nate then grabs Renee by the arm that’s when the King cuts him off by grabbing Nate and throwing him into the
ring, not only giving him one but two piledrivers to a huge baby face pop from the crowd.
Pretty good baby turn by Lawler but my question is where were the Cowboys? They
are Nate's tag team why did they not come and make the save for Nate? They waited
until Lawler had left the ring before they showed up to help Nate. This did not
make a lot since, the Cowboys could have hit the ring and took a few bumps for Lawler for an even bigger pop from the fans
or they could have even beat the crap out of the King for some serious heat but hey I did not write the angle I just watched
it. All in all good baby turn by the King. Hot Topic
vs. Mr. America & Hillbilly Jethro with Grady Watson- By far the best match of the show all four guys looked good
even with Derrick smiling all these guys had a lot of intensity even the Hillbilly.
But it was Derrick King, Stan Lee, and Mr. The show ended with
Nate the Rat back at the announcers table with a towel around his neck screaming about how he was going to get the King apparently
the Kings piledrivers don’t have what they use to have on them seeing as how Nate the Rat took two and 5 minutes later
was back up running his mouth again folks I didn’t write it I just watched it. The Big Announcement-
I’m sure everybody knows by now that Memphis Wrestling is moving to 10:00pm on September 2, 2006 I hate to say it but
this looks to be the end of the tradition of Memphis Wrestling on Saturday mornings the reason I say tradition is because
Saturday morning wrestling is a tradition around here. I just like most of you
grew up on Saturday morning wrestling that was what made me become a wrestler and I hate to see it go even though today’s
Memphis Wrestling product is not what it use to be it was tradition and it will be sadly missed lets just hope this isn’t
the beginning of the end of Memphis Wrestling all together it just mite very well be.
The time change isn’t a good thing by any means but with the state of Memphis Wrestling being what it is maybe
the time change will light a fire under Memphis Wrestling’s ass and they will start producing a more interesting and
more storyline driven product that’s the biggest thing wrong with Memphis Wrestling today. The lack of good angles and more complex storylines that they actually follow through with instead of starting
them one week and acting like they don’t exist the next week. Memphis Wrestling
needs to get off of its ass and do its best to reclaim its former prestige, bring in new talent and use them right not just
to put the elders over before it’s too late, and part of Midsouth history is lost for ever. What is the fate of
Memphis Wrestling from here? Nobody knows and only time will tell. These are
just one mans opinions and you know what they say about opinions they are like assholes everybody has one this just happens
to be mine.
2
Cool 2 vs. Picture Perfect- Both are pretty good teams 2 Cool 2 appear to be a little more polished as a tag team than
Picture Perfect but that’s not saying Picture Perfect aren’t a good team because they are. I like both teams and it is good to see them get to showcase their talent instead of having to play second
fiddle to the veterans. Now the match was ok and the reason I say it was just
ok is not what you may think. No it’s not the not so hot hot tag and no
it’s not the miss spin wheel kick that even Cory Maclin caught, it all has to do with intensity there was no intensity
anywhere in the match. Guys just because everybody knows it is a work doesn’t
mean you have to work like it’s a work if you act like it means something it will mean something the fans are not stupid
they can tell when your just going through the motions and if you don’t care why should they. The
Cowboys with Nate the Rat- These three look good together The Cowboys with there bull ropes, cowbells, and chewing tobacco
running around the studio dripping tobacco juice everywhere along with Nate the Rat his name says it all. He apparently in the new mouth piece for the Cowboys Nate is a good talker and at least we did not have
to see him dressed up like Elvis like I said these three guys look good together, but I would like to see The Cowboys do their
own talking. I believe they would get more heat if they talked more themselves. Opening
the Vaults of Memphis Wrestling- Featuring Jerry the King Lawler and Lord Humongous this was classic Jerry Lawler sell,
sell, sell, them make a big comeback as all ways one of the highlights of the show and a decent build for Lord Humongous’
return to Memphis Wrestling next week. Who will Lord Humongous be and how well
will his return work? We will just have to wait and see. The Clowns with Rashad vs. Bishop and Drew Donovan- The match was good Bishop looked really good
but again not much if anything on the hot tag Drew Donovan need more fire. The
Clowns now have names one is BoBo and the other Mr. Giggles these guys are getting more comfortable with the gimmick and it
shows. I thought the spot where Mr. Giggles poked Bishop in the butt with what
appeared to be a safety pin was hilarious and using the lemon in the eyes of Drew Donovan for the finish was great the destroying
of the remote control car instead of letting the kids play with it was good heat. Great
crowd reaction for The Clowns good job guys keep it up. Jerry Lawler taped interview- The king plugs his action figures, DVD’s, Personal appearance in
Millington, ECW, RAW coming to Memphis, and his match with Randy Orton this Monday. Mr. Bill Dundee and Hot Topic vs. Mr. America, Tattoo and Hillbilly Jethro with Grady Watson- Best match
of the show all six guys did a great job there’s no criticism of derrick King this week.
Dundee and Hot Topic actually worked real good together, their interview before their match was great with Dundee stating
that he had been whooping people in Memphis since the 60’s and Derrick putting his head on Cory Maclin’s shoulder
was vintage Derrick King, he may not be serious but he is entertainingly funny. Kevin White Joined Cory Maclin at the announcers table for the Hot Topic, Dundee match- He did a good
job I thought, he did not seem to be uncomfortable actually he seemed right at home his announcing was better than his interviews
usually are. Two weeks in a row Memphis Wrestling seen to be concentrating on showcasing their young talent. Good job Memphis Wrestling keep it up!! These
are just one mans opinions and you know what they say about opinions they are like assholes everybody has one this just happens
to be mine.
Picture
Perfect vs. The Clowns with Rashad- Rashad joined Cory Maclin at the announcers desk, I have to say he did pretty good
he needs to get to do it more to get better but he was funny. Now the Clowns
and Picture Perfect had a pretty good match, the finish was a little sloppy but overall the match was dam decent. Good to see these two young teams get to shine both teams look good glad to see The Clowns get the win
in the middle of the ring. Memphis Wrestling needs to put these four guys in
am angle to elevate both teams. GOOD JOB GUYS!! Bill
Dundee- Dundee joins Cory Maclin at the announcers table he was better than he has been in a long time turning him heal
was a good move for Memphis Wrestling. Derrick
King & Stan Lee Interview- Both guys are good on the mic. I have to say
I usually give Derrick a hard time about smiling and being more serious but Derrick is a good worker and is even better on
the mic, he truly is Mr. Personality. King, Lee, and Mr.
America vs. Stan Lee- This was a very solid match it was consistent from start to finish.
Stan Lee and Mr. Hillbilly
Jethro & Bishop with Grady Watson vs. The Cowboys Wild Bill & Ricky Murdock- I don’t know much about Murdock
but Wild Bill is definitely nuts and Murdock don’t seem to far behind. I
love the Cowboys gimmick and they are good at it. Bishop and Hillbilly Jethro
looked pretty good in this match, Hillbilly Jethro looked better than he ever has he did a good job in the ring and bishop
did dam good to he seems to have a lot of potential. The Cowboys win the match
by use of the cowbell. Another solid match. Kevin
White Video- I said it before and apparently I am going to have to keep saying it Kevin White does not need this stupid
boy band gimmick, he is an excellent wrestler Memphis Wrestling should drop the gimmick and push his wrestling and he would
be an asset to the company. Opening
the Vault of Superstar Bill Dundee- As always this old video was great I love the opening the vault of Superstar Bill
Dundee this was hilarious! Neil
Taylor vs. Bill Dundee with Nate the Rat as Referee- this match if you can call it that was very short and the piledriver
spot was awful, but the crowd did seen to get behind Kevin White when he made the save and got his hands on Nate the Rat. Kevin White did pretty good on the mic.
Like I said lose the boy band gimmick and Kevin White would be marketable. 2
Cool 2 vs. Tattoo & Donovan- This match was and expiration of time match and we did not get to see the finish but
what I seen of the match was pretty good. 2 Cool 2 were funny on the mic and
are good Southern Tag Team Champions these guys are best when they really push the corniness of the gimmick the cornier the
better. Memphis Wrestling should push the hell out of these guys with some victories
over some of the established veterans. Johnny
Dotson video- It seems like Memphis Wrestling is trying to make up for ignoring Johnny Dotson and his injury for
several weeks. Dotson’s interview was by far the best of the show, you
can see that Dotson really believes in what he is doing and saying and it just come through the TV screen at you. Derrick
needs to watch some of Dotson’s Promos and he will see what I mean about acting more serious and being taken more seriously
by the fans. I
must say that today’s Memphis Wrestling show was better than usual, they didn’t really build for anything but
overall the matches were good and the show was good. These are just one mans opinions and you know what they say about opinions they are like
assholes everybody has one this just happens to be mine.

Ken Wayne’s Bill Dundee & Derrick King- Not a lot of chemistry between Kevin White & Tattoo – Not a lot of chemistry here either, don’t get me wrong there was
nothing wrong with their match they just don’t seem to fit each other. Kevin
White needs to lose his intro music, get rid of the ring jacket, and come to the ring as more of a pure wrestler and let his
in ring work speak for itself. Opening the Vaults of Mr. Two Ring Battle Royal (for new SUV)- More South Haven footage Rikishi and Brian Christopher were the
last two in the ring Christopher tried to tell Rikishi that the truck had enough room for the both of them so they should
just share it. Rikishi tells Christopher that there was only enough room for
one in the truck and that was him as he tosses Christopher over the top rope for the victory and the truck. The Clowns- As far as the Clowns go I think it is a good gimmick for now it shows everybody behind the
scenes that who ever the Clowns are they are team players and are able to deal with change.
I will tell you this Memphis Wrestling dropped the ball big time on this one; they should have put the Clowns over
Brickhouse Brown & Robert Gibson it was Memphis Wrestling’s chance to set a new precedence in that they were going
to start utilizing the young talent and push them more, but needless to say they did the same thing they always do and that
is favor the established veterans over the young talent and by doing so they are destroying their chance for success as a
wrestling company that does more business than once a month in South Haven & once a week on TV. The whole point of TV is to promote your house shows so that your company and your talent are able to make
money but like I said they dropped the ball big time with the Clowns. If Memphis
Wrestling does not treat their in house talent like they are somebody how do they expect the fans to treat them like they
are somebody? No house shows and smaller and smaller crowds in South Haven is
proof positive that Memphis Wrestling needs to create some new stars before they run out of the old ones and there’s
noting left. Johnny Dotson- It’s nice to see Memphis Wrestling finally mention Johnny Dotson being hurt. I mean come on it has been three or four weeks now without acknowledging that he even
exist. Dotson is by far one of their brightest stars. Memphis Wrestling dropped the ball with this one also.
Memphis Wrestling for 7-15-06 Sound
problems and miscues well it’s TV and shit happens deal with it. Cory
Maclin and KoKo B Ware- In a word “RIDICULES” Kevin
white and Bill The
Clowns- I know everyone seems to hate it, but I love it come on Memphis wrestling is normally so bland it is nice to see
them trying something different, not to mention this is pro wrestling you have everything else wrestling has to have some
clowns. The WWE proved that with Doink who spawned a thousand fake Doinks some
still being booked on wrestling shows today. I say keep the gimmick try to perfect
it and make it a much darker with an evil twist to it in a Stephen King “It” kind of way and see how it works. Hey it’s worth a try. Now that brings
me to 2 Cool 2- I love these guys especially when they push the cornyness of the gimmick it reminds me of the Mullett's
it is corny and it is meant to be corny so push the corny edge of the gimmick and have fun with it and these guys would be
unstoppable because these guys are funny as hell. I love their spot they did
with Rikishi everybody seen it coming everybody knew what was going to happen and when it did happen the people still exploded. That’s the hook to this gimmick guys “embrace”
it.
